San Diego – A new condominium project in Little Italy is undergoing design review at Civic San Diego (formerly CCDC). The project site is 1919 Pacific Highway, sandwiched between the trolley/railroad tracks and Pacific Hwy near West Grape Street, diagonally north across from the County Administration Center, and adjacent to the Marriott Residence Inn. A one story motel, which now partially occupies the site, will be demolished to make room for the new building. The Building will contain 35 one bedroom and 36 two bedroom market rate condominiums. The developers are Thomas Chen and Associates / Dayleen Teren. The architects are JZMK Partners and Don Edson Architects – lead architects Cachi Martinez and Don Edson. It will come before the Centre City Advisory Committee (CCAC) at 5:15 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 401 B St., 4th floor.
