San Diego – A new Bosa condominium tower project is working its way through the design review and entitlement processes. It has received generally favorable comments from CCDC staff. The project is at the foot of Broadway immediately west of the Electra residential tower (encompassing the old SDG&E steam generation plant) at the intersection of Pacific Highway and Broadway. The 41 story project will contain 232 residential condominium (mostly 2 bedroom) units, and 16,000 square feet of retail. Arguably, the site is the main gateway to downtown. Yesterday (May 16, 2012) it came before the Real Estate Committee of the CCDC Board, although at time of print, actions or comments of the Committee were unknown. An outline of project details can be found in Development Team and Description below, excerpted from the CCDC staff report. The report provided no groundbreaking or completion dates.
